Annual Employee Training Talk
Zonk Up! The Launch of Zonk™
Quoted as the ‘most anticipated event’ by SG NewsTimes, Zonk Up! by Makani will launch its newest and flashiest product, Zonk™ this July.
The product launch will be an outdoor event at the Canton Waterfront, showcasing Makani’s latest product, Zonk™. Zonk Up! will be the first product launch to be open to public participation.
Chairman Ong Boon Teck expressed his views on this event. Zonk™ represents the newest trend in innovative technology, and we wish to share this freshest style in town with everyone.’ Ong also added that Zonk Up! will ensure a fun and entertaining experience and will be the highlight event this year.
Funfair style, Zonk Up! will be a 2-hour affair, where participants are able to view a showcase of Makani’s line of products and technology advances. Renowned restaurants are also invited to set up mini food stalls to entice palates. Starting at 7 in the evening, the ambience will accentuated by the beautiful waterfall displays of the Canton River.
In addition, participants who take part in the Makani lucky draw will have the chance to win attractive prizes. The top ten winners will stand to win a pair of Makani's Zonk™ shades, and an invitation to the movie premiere of ‘Shaolin Panda’. So do remember to Zonk Up! on Jul. 6 and bring back an unforgettable experience!
Talks and Seminars
At Makani, constant upgrading is provided to employees of all levels. Every year, a series of talks and seminars will be arranged by Headquarters to update employees on the latest management and efficient working methods. These seminars are compulsory for all indicated Makani employees.
On Jul. 20, 2008, renowned entrepreneur Chang Ka Hui will be sharing his knack in efficient business and risk management in Makani Convention Hall 1. The event is open for managers, supervisors, sales executives and you. 50 seats are allocated for members of the public. Sign up now at any Makani store!
On Aug. 5, 2008, the annual Employee Training Talk will be held at Shenton Seminar Room 3. All employees are required to attend. By constantly upgrading our employees, Makani can ensure quality service for its consumers.
On Aug. 20 the Annual R & D Seminar will be held in Makani Convention Hall 2. Research and Development updates keeps the quality and variety of products high.
On Sep. 30 in Makani Convention Hall 1, the Annual HQ Meeting will commence at 9am sharp. No late-comers will be tolerated.
Annual Dinner and Dance
Nothing bonds a company better than the Annual Makani Company Dinner. This year, the prestigious event will be held at the SeaRoyale Hotel on the second week of August.
This year, Makani has invited the Chairman of the Consumer Electronic Association, Julie Tay to be the Guest of Honor. Tay was the head of the directors' panel in choosing Makani as the winner for the CES Innovations 2008 award. This is a once in a year chance for Makani employees to let their hair down and have fun!
